I was wondering when this team would show it's nature. There we go. From the outset, the team was not ready to play, despite some great efforts of some individuals. The defense has to get better. They got ripped apart today, despite spirited play.

Another letdown on a big game. Oh well. Not like I'm not used to them..Only been here since '73.

**** !
Shame on me for believeing in a team that's overachieveing and doing great things. I'm very angry right now.

I am very sad too. I thought we had a good chance to pull out the win, and up until the fourth quarter, we could have.

Despite our defense getting ripped apart and losing a big game to the Pats, I still need to remember that this is a team that went 1-15. I hate losing and this loss really damages our playoff hopes, but the fact that a few days before Thanksgiving that we were playing a meaningful huge game is amazing.

I agree. some good plays by individuals, but we werent a good enough team. the D just couldnt stop anything! They were banging on all week about how big this damn game was but they did next to nothing to show that!

How about the fact you couldn't hide Good Ol #32 Jason Allen today worst coverage by a dolphin db since James "Burnt" Brown.

I'm not happy but compare to last year......whatever I don't feel like talking now
:(

The offense showed signs of life at times.

We do got to remember that we're still the team that nobody even expected to be mentioned at this point of the season. The team is still working hard and I appreciate that out of them. It shows that with some improvements in key areas, we should be contending sooner rather than later. Bess, Ginn and Camarillo seem to be a good, young receiving core. We have A LOT to build on and just as much to fix.

I feel we did get a little spoiled with those 4 straight wins and expected maybe too much. The team is getting better gradually, minus setbacks in some units like today.

I didn't think the Defense would hold up against the Pats. Cassell is far better now than he was when we played them the first time. What bothers me is the lack of ability to run the ball on O. Only chance we had would have been to keep the ball away from the Pat's O. Run game just is not there. Defense was predictably bad against the pass.

I'm very disappointed but given where we came from, it's still an improvement. Our schedule eases up and we have a shot at winning at least 3 or 4 more games so let's see how the team reacts. Hope Cam and Jake are not hurt to bad.

It was good run Nubs. You're right, of course. This one hurt my soul a little is all.

Why don't I feel as bad??? We had to see this coming. New England came out gangbusters and wanted revenge for whooping we gave them in their house. Let's face it...they did what they had to.

As bad as this loss is, we're still in over .500 and officially not dead yet as far as playoffs are concerned. Our offense showed up big time, so that's a good sign. Now, if our D can pull their heads out of the sand, we should be able to go into St. Louis next week and beat the Lambs!

Remember it's only year one of this regime's rebuilding process. At the start of the season many people thought this team would be lucky to win 5 games.Yet here they are in week 12 contending for a playoff spot.

I know today was a big disappointment, I thought they had a good chance of winning too, but things just didn't go their way.The weaknesses that we have seen all year were just amplified today.

While they are not technically out of the playoffs now, I believe they have an uphill battle and will fall short this year.If they do make it in I will be as happy as anyone else. However I am still excited about this team , because I believe they are moving in the right direction.I know we were fooled many times in the past thinking things were going to change but I do believe the guys in charge now are for real.I believe they have a plan in place that will work in the long run

I think we will see many of the teams weaknesses addressed this off-season which will translate into more wins and a return to the playoffs next season.

Still this loss hurts, and I know like many others here I can't help but be down, even though I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Good post. You're right. Thanks for posting this little nugget in my thread. I'm excited too, still. It doesn't change the fact that at 41 years old I just want to curl up in a corner and rage right now. I would like to thank Sparano for giving me back my passion........And I'd like to Damn him at the same time.

That is the problem when you over-achieve, expectations grow to an outstanding level that when the team does actually get found out it hurts alot more.

6-5 in re-building year is terrific work from everyone in the FO. Dont forget that this was supposed to be and is a re-building season.
