Now that the Super Bowl is over, the most depressing time for NFL fans: a whole month of freaking nothing.

It's sad when you have to get geeked for free agency. Whoop-de-doo!

Only 7 months til our next game....ugh

I wish you well in coping FinFans. Hopefully it is us hoisting the Lombardi next year
 
The offseason sucks. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I do root for the Yankees and Marlins. It's just not the same though. NBA and NHL I can watch, still not the same as waiting for the Dolphins every Sunday(or Monday or Thursday). At least we have the Olympics coming up! I get into the olympics. Too bad it's only 2 weeks long. At least after that there will be some NFL activity. World Cup will be a good sports distraction as well.

Is it just me or is fall/early winter the best time of the year? You've got NFL(and college) plus Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Super Bowl. Lots of reasons to party!
 
Pretty much a dead month for Miami Sports. If you're a Heat fan like me, you know there's no hope with Spoelstra. The Heat have become unwatchable, nothing will change for the Dolphins till March 6th, and baseball is boring in my opinion.
 
It's especially hard to get geeked for Free agency when we never get top tier free agents. I get the whole idea of not overpaying for talent, but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and get a top guy at a particular position.

enough of the gibril wilsons, and second tier lineman etc etc etc... I just wanna make a splash (albeit a good move) for one offseason!!!!
 
Go watch college game tapes. It will help get you through the offseason.
 
I still have my Spurs but it isn't the same as the NFL. The NFL being only a few months long is the worst especially since baseball and basketball seem to last forever
 
In my younger days.. I played baseball, so spring time was something to look forward to.. As I'm getting older and cant play at the same competitive level, I turned to drag racing... So personally speaking, I cant wait for spring time to roll around..
 
A few things that really bother me right now.

1. Being a Dolfan, now that are team is clearly getting better, I don't want to get my hopes up and then let down again and again (recent seasons). This is a true Dolfan characteristic and it SUCKS!

2. I am tired of hearing how we are 1-3 years away. And the same with Miami Heat 2010 is there year. Marlins will compete when there new stadium is complete. I guess I am in patient but sfl has had a drought of championship minus 2006 Heat. It blows my mind with all the talent that comes out of sfL that lack of talent SFL teams have?????
 
yeah this blows.

now im stuck with college basketball and the NBA.

baseball bores me to tears, and hockey? im from florida so.....yeah.....lol

basketball it is.

offseason is the worst time of year by far, thank god for ps3 lol
 
I hear ya... At least you guys can just go to the beach and stare at hotties all day. I'm stuck in Philly with 400 pound monsters with cheese whiz dripping from their chins.

my off season is worse than yours. :facepalm:
 
I cant wait for the combine starts Feb 24th..gonna dvr that.

But there is nothing like watching games..The offseason is always dope...

Draft is like Xmas...I always have a party for that
 
Cheer up guys, the combine is only a couple weeks away, then almost right after is the start of FA. I'm sure we will make a cut or two (cough PORTER cough). Then after FA we have the draft to look forward to.
 
I know it's boring but I'm really looking forward to this offseason. It'll be interesting to see the moves we make in FA and the draft. Remember, next year is our year!
