Noone wants to be the one to say anthing bad on this board about Taylor, and understandably so. Hes a warrior, and hes one of the few bright spots on our team.. but its time someone says something...

Taylor has not been playing great , in my opinion, its the foot njury. Why not sit him down? let Roth get more plays to see if he can ever be good and see what else we can work with at de. playing taylor when hes hurt like this is not prolonging his career, its not giving us his full potential on the field..and its not giving our other DE's (who are good) a shot.

It's not him or the injury. It's the fact that we're moving him around. Taylor is a DE, keep him on the line.

I think if we try hard enough, we'll find something to complain about for every player/coach on this team, with the exception of Ronnie, ricky and welker.

see the fire within in? no confidence thread..it'll explain a lot.

JT has a foot injury that cant heal in a week. He needs time for it to heal. Hes playing on with it cos we need him to. He has said himself it is causing him pain. For a defensive end to be playing with a foot injury where his first step is all important is crucial. Dont expect miracles from JT because hes human. Roth cant fill JT's shoes at this juncture so we have to live with an average JT at the moment which is better than what weve got as cover.

Give the vulchers time. Even with Ronnie, they'll find a way, trust me. :shakeno:

Welkers returns have been horrible. And he does muff the ball a lot.

haha i knew i was gonna get torched..i nver said ANYONE would fill his shoes. This is a serious injury he has. and I for one, would like to see taylor in the next frew years, esp as we become competitive. we arnt competitve and are only agravating his injury while were at it. he may be playing with fire, but hes having a below average season. let roth get some time in to see what hes worth. let d bo and the others rotate, and keep taylor fresh on the bench so he can get healthy.

Please. Even with the injury, Taylor is in the backfield every play and disrupts the offense as much as you'd expect out of a player.

To key in on Taylor as a problem after this loss is like blaming the firebombing of Dresden on the fuel that powered the planes.

are his returns his fault, or the result of no blocks/holes to run through etc? as for muffing the ball, I don't count that unless the ball is turned over.

Vultures? you must be confusing me with the fans on here that talked the ronnie's a bust and saban sucks threads..i love this team, and i lve jason taylor, thats why it kills me to see him on the field the wole game saying his foot is in ridiculous pain, theres a difference between being valiant and being stupid, i think if we continue to play him like we have, we are crossing the line into stupid.

I am depressed right about now, I am upset right about now. But you know what I just realized...there is no fire in these players. About the only players we have that do care if we win or loose have showed emotions throughout the season now and in the past are Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas. Saban although he has not been what I expected I feel that he will rebound next season. I feel this guy is smart he just needs the coaching depth at the professional level to suceed. I would hate to see him get that here and go on later on to another football team and make them champs. Patience is required when dealing with a lot of players that phsycologically have been affected by the dark regime (Wannt, Spielman, Wise) in the past. We cannot blame for Saban being over-aggresive. We can't blame Linehan because Saban approves every call in the end. I do blame the defensive coordinator. This guy was picked up from a Lions organization. I would much rather have Saban promote one of his LSU defensive guys and let saban call the plays on D. This D has been as pathethic and probably worse then the Offense. All I can say now is that next year a lot of guys will not be coming back that is guaranteed. From coaching to Players..Saban is finding who will and who won't be part of this system. I'm dissapointed because of Sabans supposively Disciplinarian attitude. I have not seen that yet..in fact I've seen him too happy when we score on a play or win a game! It's almost like his confidence level is down. I don't know if anyone else can notice this but I do see it. Saban needs a moral boost he needs Huizenga to let him know "hey man we're behind you, we know it wouldn't take a year so we'll buy you some time." Half of the dolphins roster unfortanutely would be 2nd team players on a lot of other NFL teams. In the end what I am trying to say is that Saban needs to be that disciplinarian he once was mentioned as and he needs to bring his level of confidence up a notch. He needs to be smart and play the players that will matter in the future. He needs to be a a realist and I know it's hard because no TEAM, NO COACH plays for the future but it's something that must be done. The nucleaus needs to be reconstructed down here. Chambers, McMike guys who once were promising stars are now players affected by the failure injected by the former regime. These guys need a new start somewhere else and this dolphins team needs a cleansing from head to toes. Goodbye Mr. Defensive Coordinator and unfortuantely I think Saban will be sticking to Linehan next year and for many years to come because in the endi t's all a process it does us no better to hire a new Coordinator next year. LInehans system will work with the right players and the right attitude. Go dolphins!

A depressed fins fan!

Did I ever say he was a problem in this loss? NO, im just saying we need to keep this guy around for thenext few years, having him stress abad inury isnt a means to do that. I rather have taylor when we an get in the play offs then when we suck as a team
