Could be a bit off topic here, but its relevant, because it could be a distraction against our upcoming game, but does anyone know why Mike Tomlin did what he did?

When I watched a reply on what he did, it appears he was watching the play on the jumbo-tron, why? (I don't know), he then skips away, as to not interfere with the play.

I saw the ref run around him, and I have to ask, why didn't he throw a flag on this play?

And the fact that no contact was made, how did he interfere?

I know he accepted responsibilty, I was just trying to get some clarity.

As you all know, I feel most NFL games are rigged to a certain degree through the refs and Las Vegas.

I want to bring the replacement refs back, that's how bad it has been this season.

The NFL has become the WWF in the world of sports.

He did what he did, in my opinion, to disrupt the play.....which he accomplished.

It won't be a distraction, he accepted responsibility and they have moved on.......now if this were a Dolphin coach this would be news for weeks.

Time to kick him off the competition committee.

That I agree, but I thought he got tackled...?

He accepted responsibility but he still denied that he did it. "I'm sorry that I accidentally got in the way."

Im just worried about the pittsburgh native refs doing this game.

Only Tomlin really knows. Isn't the first time a coach has gotten close to a play by accident or on purpose.

I think he saw Jones coming behind him, and wanted to spook him a bit so that the guy behind him could keep up. Looked completely deliberate to me. Jones should have run into him.

Im just worried about the pittsburgh native refs doing this game.

Which crew is it? Not the one from a few years ago when we played them I hope?

It was less about him literally getting in the way, and more of him creating the illusion that he was getting in the way. Thing about it like this:

You are driving your car, and someone coming off a cross street rolls a quarter of the way through a stop sign before coming to a stop. In the meantime, you have, at least, tapped your breaks to avoid a collision.

That's pretty much what this was.

Which crew do we have on Sunday?

I think after the play the commentators mentioned that because Jones had to break away from the sideline for a second, that not only slowed him down a little from his top speed, but brought him slightly closer to the defender coming at him from the righthand side.
