I think we've clearly established ourselves as the second-best team in the division. Although we beat them there last year, today was simply an incredibly difficult task to get done.

There's no question that the pats are the best team in the east...even though I think we beat them when they come down to Miami.

I can honestly say that this year's Dolphins team is a far cry from the utterly disappointing and embarassing teams of the recent past that would just simply fold up shop in the face of adversity.

I was proud to be a Dolphin fan even when they were 1-15 and would proudly wear my tattered blue Dolphins cap around town.

It's clear that they've got to add some more talent on both sides of the ball, but I will be a phins fan till the day I die.

Realistically, it was a long shot for the Dolphins to make playoffs this year. We just played one of the toughest first half schedules I have seen in a long time. Though we still have many tough games ahead, the level of play is far ahead of where it was last season.
 
Hate to say this because I really despise the Jets but feel that even though we beat them twice that they have much better quality of players then us, mostly on their Defense, and could be considered second best if your just judging talent this year.......

Assuming we win next week against the Bucs and the Jets lose, we would be in second. The AFC is really too good to even hope for a wild card spot. Besides, an 8 game winstreak is improbable, but not impossible. What I once considered an easy win against Carolina, now they look like the team they were last year... Great.

Doesn't matter bro....we've beaten them twice, and that's truly all that matters.

We (Jets) probably have better talent overall but you guys are a better team right now. Being a good team goes beyond the level of talent but how that talent plays together. The Dolphins have played more sound football than the Jets this year and that's the #1 reason why they won both games.
 
We have a better secondary than the Giants at least, even with our rookies. I say Giants since they just folded the past 4 weeks and I live here and watch the end of their games. Giants blow, they could have helped us out by beating the Chargers.

The Jets have better players overall[for now at least, Phins are younger. Next year I think we may have better ones], but the Jets just have not been nearly as smart or tough, which are also important.
 
It's hard to say we are 2nd best when we are tied for last tie breaker or not.
