HoneyB
Active Roster
There's no reason we can't play better with this roster. I don't mind losing some games. I don't mind rebuilding. But I want to see progress, and an arrow up. I don't want to watch a team wallow around in the mud. That's what's disappointing.
If something doesn't change on the coaching staff in the off season, I will be concerned about our future. If Joe Philbin believes in his methodology, then he has to make it work, NOW, not tomorrow. If his O line coach let a personnel problem explode in the national media, and his line can't run block or pass block, then he should have replaced the O line coach. If his QB isn't developing fast enough and is at times regressing, then fire the QB coach. If what Sherman is doing is not working, then deal with that.
That team out there today just flat out gave up, and they gave up because they feel whatever we're doing is not working.
As far as the offense is concerned, there's still question marks for me, going into year 3, that I thought would be settled by now:
1. I'm still not convinced Tannehill is the guy.
2. I have no idea who our primary back is going to be in 2014.
3. QB/WR timing is still lacking, and the scheme itself doesn't seem to be producing results.
4. Third down and red zone problems.
