Not really.. that ball could have easily bounce Welker's way, and in a split second, you don't have time to decide whether or not to hit him when the ball was still remotely in his area

I do agree kinda, I think hitting him that hard was uncalled for but knowing welker he can catch that....lol he has on us i think plenty times

Note: If the Steelers were playing a different team though, my opinion on the hit may be slightly different :up:

Ouch. I'm not a huge Welker fan (anymore), but that's pretty dirty.

How was that dirty??? There was no helmet to helmet contact. It was just a solid hit.
Just watch the Patriots play..their DBs get away with those kind of hits every week. Finally nice to see other teams give them payback. The flag on the play was "dirty"
