What a difference a year makes.

I was just playing a game of Madden 2008 and realized how much things have changed. When you play the game, 5 players come up over and over again. Out of those 5 players, only Ronnie Brown is still on this team. The rest, Taylor, Thomas, Chambers, and Booker are all elsewhere.

It was inevitable with the season we had last year. A new regime, a 1-15 season, heads were going to roll. They may have been talented, but they were also players on that 1-15 roster. Never a better time to blow things up.. Oh.. and you forgot Trent Green.

And just two short years before that, the Fins were going into the season with Daunte, Ricky, Ronnie, Chambers, Booker and McMichael at the offensive skill positions.... Man, if that had only worked out....

Everybody else was trying to fix this team with bandaids. BP is the only one with the guts to perform surgury and really fix what's ailing this team. Get rid of the old and bring in the new.

I believe thats exactly what Wannstedt did, patching up the offense with band-aids while he let JJ's defense slowly rot away over time.
