I had the privelage to go to the Turkey Day game. For the most part, excellent fans all around. Saw Olindo shank a 55-yarder (or was it 50?) off the goal post during warm-ups, but that's the only thing he missed all day. Don't believe Joey when he says it's another game, he's just trying not to cause problems. Boy was booed when they did the introductions and he was grinning like a mad Cheshire, as if to say, "Yeah, boo now, I'll still be smiling at the end of the day and you'll be going home early." Which they did. The mass exodus started in the third and never stopped. In the fourth, Saban put in Cleo and the guys in the announcer's box didn't even notice it until five minutes in and then used the speakers for the first and only time to accounce it (which I find hilarious.)

EDIT: Oh, and I'm kinda mad at Chambers and consider the lone interception to be his fault. Joey through it up there for him to go and get it and he didn't even try to take it away from the DB. Just kinda sat there, like a dee-dee-dee, and watched the Lions DB make the interception.

i agree the fans for the most part were great. iv gone to many bills games at the ralph and their fans are classless. all and all it was a great game im glad we one but more than that im glad joey played aswell as he did. the turkey must have tasted real sweat for joey last night. were did you come from to watch the game

Glad you had a good trip buddy. Oh and Im not mad at chambers cos we won lol! :D

Detroit fans had class

We went to the game yesterday and had a great time, the Detroit fans were very cool, and took as good as they gave!! I feel kind of bad for them because they have a great stadium, a great city, great baseball, basketball, and hockey teams, but their football team is a perennial loser. They were chanting "fire Millen" on and off during the second half....sounds like a good idea after watching Miami manhandle them yesterday.

Great day for the Dolphins....looking forward to seeing how long this streak will run...I'm calling the season 8-8. Can't start off 1-6 and expect to win out... but will be overjoyed if they do!!!!

Defense is on fire! :fire:

That was alo joey's fault... he threw the ball late. Chambers was wide open for a while but joey was looking somewhere else so he didn't see it until later, and then his throw was to late to get to chambers...

how many beers did u have before making that assesment? there were 8 seconds left he pumpfaked and threw one up quickly..... not to mention he was getting hit as he threw it.....here it is chambers a nice lob to the endzone, go make a play on it... and he obviosuly didn't... i love chambers to death but recently he has been really botherin me with his poor play. He just kept going to the endzone in a jog thinkin the ball was gonna fall right into his hands when he shouldve been trying to make a play on the ball..nothin more nothin less

That pick was on Joey and nobody else. Joey tried to throw a pick a few plays earlier, but the DB just didn't make a play on it.

So your saying he throws picks on purpose?

Which isn't terrible. An interception can be forgiven when you complete 66% of your passes with a 7.3 ypa, add in 3 touchdowns.

Joey finally put together a full game. He was due. I don't think people realized that through 6 games, he was performing much worse than he did in Detroit.

Now he's put himself back on par with his latter Detroit years.

The only unfortunate thing is there seem to be a mass of fans that believe one complete game against the worst team in the league more than balances out 6 poor ones and makes Joey the franchise's future.

By all means, I'am not ripping Joey.
I'am just saying that the pick was on Joey and not Chambers.
It did seem like once Chambers realized the pass was a little short that he just stood there. I would of liked it better if Chambers would of jumped on the D-Back and tried to interfere with the pass. It wouldn't of mattered if he got a pentalty for it. I just wish he would of tried.

I was at the game as well and im not gonna lie, I was very nervous the first 5 mins of the game when Detriot was all over us and we were really flat...Finally, we woke up and put the pedal to the metal...
There were soooo many Dolphins fans there, it was packed with fish......My whole row was full of Dolphins fans and at times we were def. louder then Detriot fans, who other then booing Joey with those stupid pictures of him on the jumbotron or the Fire Millen Chants....
Great Game, Great Time, Great Win!

Or masses of fans that believe a QB who hasn't played well since 2004 is a lock to be the franchise's future.
