Supposedly blackballed for years because he came across as a superior intelligence-flaunting, condescending ayehole. Looks like he's paid his penance by this point and as an analyst comes across as knowledgeable, insightful and objective.

The guy was the OC for the then record-breaking offense of the MN Vikings before going to the Ravens and winning the SB. His HC record over 9 years is 80-64, winning 2 division championships, 1 conference championship and of course 1 SB championship.. he's 8-5 in postseason play and before he got fired for going 5-11, the year before that one, in 2006, his team went 13-3. I'm sure his battery is more than recharged.

The question is whether he'd want to give up his network jobs for an interim position, even with the assurance was that he'd have the inside track for the permanent HC job in '16. IMO he might, because he's allegedly been trying to get back into the NFL for years.

We could do a lot worse, including anyone on current staff as the interim coach than ending up with a career winner sporting a SB ring, IMO

Stephen Ross will never hire him. Billick is a complete douchenozzle. Same guy who had ****ing Kyle Boller as his QB refused to chsnge because he thought he was right. He gets too much credit for BAL which should go to the Defense.

Take him in 0.09 seconds. Huge upgrade. It's like dumping a High School coach for a professional.

When you listen to his NFL review thing in the mornings with Joe Rose...no thank you!

Wasn't it rumored that the Dolphins beating the Ravens in 2007 cost Ross an extra $40m to buy the Dolphins and he holds it against Billick?

IT wont happen Vaark! apparently there was some tension between him an Ross a few years ago. Besides why would he leave his great gig to come Here?
If it did though.....That would surely be something to be happy about.....for sure!!!

Better than Philbin? I think so.

Definitely not on my short list, though.

He's an easy upgrade oover Phailbin so yes. Bring him in midseason even, I dont care.

Billick has always put together great staffs too. I've liked him more than most but I think there's zero shot Ross brings him in.

Probably a better choice than anyone on our staff now :idk:
