Just saw this on PFW.

* Aging player, but could benefit flipping to RT
* A ton of experience with Philbin and his system
* COULD flip to LT if Long got knicked up
* Put John Jerry at RG as a fit

He does have a history of injuries and is long in the tooth, but it would be an upgrade over Columbo, but so am I. Jerry could play RG and we would avoid a 1st round pick on a RT.

The FA market is not great for OT's mind you. Draft is top heavy with talent, but thins out.

***The other assessment to be made is can John Jerry be effective at RT. Finding a guard is much easier in FA and or the draft.

Heeeeell yeah...my brother is a huge packers fan and I watch all the games by default..he would really solidify that rt spot and you can be flexible what you can do with that other guard position.1 more piece to our o-line and this could be the best dolphins o-line in the last decade!great lt,center and right tackle?that's amazing..

As long as he's cut so we can redo his contract I'd be ok with it. He's a definite upgrade to Columbo, of course so is my grandmother and she's been dead since the mid-90's.

I've watched Clifton plenty here in WI. I think he's done. His knees are absolutely shot.
