I know it sounds far fetched and hes supposedly on the tampa bay roster but do any of u think its possible we could get Jake Plummer to come out of retirement as our vet QB?

I think hes still a bit mobile and has a purdy strong arm, and might teach Beck a few things.

If not theres always Brian Griese to make a comeback to miami.:winkwink:

I also hope the FO makes a run for D.Hall or M. Huff.

i hope you are kidding, the people in denver were glad when he was gone. he had his chances, his best chance at any NFL career would be holding a clipboard for a rookie.

brian griese coming back to the dolphins (and succeeding like his father) would be so ideal, but he always winds up disappointing. :(

You know Carr was released. If you need a vet he could be had for a song. He was killed in his years with Houston because he had no protection. It's worth a look in my mind.

There's three reason why this is not a good idea.

1. We would have to give up a draft pick to Tampa Bay for his rights.
2. Bill Parcells says he wants players dedicated to football and ,at the moment, Jake Plummer is dedicated to his retirement.
3. Jake Plummer makes too many dumb decisions to be a "teacher" for John Beck or any young QB on the team.
