I Haven't heard any mention of him. Last i knew he was going to be a Free Agent. he is definatly an upgrade at LT. I for one would like it if he was brought in. That would also make Bringing in hutchinson more exciting. Those two where a great pair in their Michigan days. any thoughts?

Backus is a finesse type pass protector. Miami is probabaly going to be looking for a bigger, stronger 320+ drive blocker type.

I think Saban and Co will want to evaluate whether Alabi will be the answer over there. They may draft a LT in the draft to compete, but I don't see them signing one in FA.
