Since Minor and Morris are both UFAs, and Ricky is having his woes with the league, I was just wondering if any of you guys think Kay-Jay Harris has a chance to make the 53 man roster this year? As a West Virginia boy, I'd like to see him do well but he must not have been that hot to stay on the practice squad all year. Just wondering. There are a lot of you guys who have great insights on the Phins.

well i belive that he should get his chance now from what i hear he is pretty good i remember the run against the canes he is powerful.....i think he would make a good change of pace guy just to give ronnie a breather i think he will make the 53 man roster this year...:dolphins:

Honestly I say keep Sammie Morris, he's a great back-up and if things turn for the worst with the Ricky situation he'd be a valuable back-up and could easily split time with Ronnie. The only thing is convincing him to stay. I like Ricky, Ronnie, and Sammie as our RB's next year, by far we'd be the strongiest in the league.

Sammie is stellar at pass blocking and has a nack of falling forward on run plays, he can catch and he doubles as a soild blocker as a FB. We need players like him, they just fill in where necessary.

KAy Jay did well on special teams last year. He was just a victim of too many quality RBs for one team. He'll be on the 53 man roster this year. IMO

If RW ends up being suspended this year, I think KJ will be the man filling the spot vacated. Morris will become the primary backup to RB and some STs while KJ will be mostly used on STs, but I think he's good enough to make the 53 man roster...

We had 4 RB on our roster last year when Ricky came back. That bumped Morris down to a lesser role as back-up and not the 3rd down back we were seeing him play the first 4 games. Minor only being used on ST and he wasn't doing well in that role that we are used to see him do.

That being said if we keep 4 RB again, which is a good possiblity with only 1 FB. Morris can be kept for solid depth and his versatility, and Harris playing ST. Harris is a cheaper option then Minor and I think he would perform better as he is hungry to play in the NFL and willing to do what it takes to get that shot.

It wasn't Kay-Jay Harris it was Quincy Wilson he got away from Wilfork in the back field ran over some Canes including Brandon Merriweather on the sideline to take it in...He is Otis Wilson's son the former Bear LB...

Kay-Jay will probably make the roster, but I think it's very very important to get Sammy Morris back in here. Morris is a lot better than most people think, and IMO he can be a feature back. He actually did Outstanding 2 years ago behind the worse O-line in football gaining 4 YPC, and he can just flat out get the job done. Now with all of that being said I would Definitely like to see what Kay-Jay can do, but it might be the Sage situation with this guy where he just won't really get his chance unless there are some injuries

If Ricky goes, I'd like to see Sammy Morris as Ronnie's backup and Kay Jay as full back.

All 3 could play each position though......

I think that Morris or Kay should be fine....we'll be fine at RB even without Ricky imo.

Ozzy rules!!

he's too old.

Huh? He's going to be 27. How is he too old to be a backup RB? Sammy Morris is going to be 29.
