He is a great playmaker with speed. An outside linebacker that we need, and is young. Just a suggestion.

like stallworth.... you'll get 2 good games out of him and pay him more than Zach Thomas.

sweet idea.

yes, i agree. now that briggs is franchised and thomas also a possible franchise player...arrington wont come any cheaper than "this" year coming off back to back injury riddled seasons

but of course, an injury clause contract of course, to protect us. and i would still go ahead and draft an OLB in the 2nd round as well, to groom behind him and one that can step in should Crowder need to move to MLB if Zach gets injured

So, yes, give arrington a clause laden offer and draft an olb at #39

shhhhh, dont tell the nfl that there are a few olbs that are forgotten men like quentin moses and poluzsny that are slipping...shhhhh

. washington is letting this "prized free agent" go. I am through with oft-injured, overpriced, past-prime players

He was released - straight up let go. He's injury-prone, has an overinflated sense of worth, and doesn't even follow the play on the field. No. No. No.

Honestly, he is an improvement over Spragan and wont be THAT much money. Considering he is "injury prone" it will lower how much he will get payed because everyone realizes this.

I agree.

Being released by two teams in two years says alot. The Giants thought they were getting something special last year and didn't. I'll pass again this year.

Too many people on this board get so caught up in a players potential or past they fail to look at what the player really is now.

Spragan at least followed Capers instructions. Arrington would have broken out of coverage to rush the line. Undisciplined, injury prone players is exactly what the team doesn't need at this point.

You bring up an excellent point there man. I saw Quentin Moses in some drills at the Senior Bowl, and he is an ATHLETE! He has great size and enough athleticism to play OLB. The only reason his stock is dropping is because of his poor play his senior year. Anthony Spencer from Purdue is another interesting prospect. He came out of nowhere and was virtually unblockable in a lot of the drills. He's another tweener in the draft.
