I'm not saying it even an option, but how about putting him in as a reciver (4 WR sets). He gonna have some okay catching ability and well his stats look good ( 4.28 40-yard, 6 ft tall, 216 lbs) and QB's turn into WR quite often

hmm

lolol please no one mention him as a "randle-el" esque player

Ok enough is enough !!!

How about the unemployment line, since he's not even a member of the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see why you wouldn't try him out at different positions pending how he performs at QB during the rookie mini-camp.

If QB doesn't work out, they could decide he might have a future in the NFL elsewhere than QB if he shows substantial physical ability.

I don't understand why everyone dismissed it so quickly, it's not as if there was many differences between previous QB's turned WR's. No-one seems against Michael Robinson changing positions, in fact they seem more receptive to it than QB. Why not Marcus Vick if the cards fall that way.

It's all because he has been in much trouble. No other reason. Nobody here ever made stupid choices as a college student. Nobody!!

Naw...We're smarter than to waste our money on college Dan. We just make stupid choices elsewhere.

He doesnt have the open field moves or explosiveness a WR needs thats why I dismiss it so quickly......

I think the only reason Vick is not used as a WR is because he's not a very physical player. The coaches at V-Tech tried many times to get him to run more but he resisted. He only wanted to run when it became his only option.

Well, his play at VaTech is no indication that he would make a good WR...he may, but no one has seen that side of him yet. The question with Vick is first, whether or not he can make it as a QB. His skills as a QB are not fantastic, but coupled with his ability to loosen the D up with his runnign prowess and his strong arm, he could develop. Let me add that he's no Michael Vick when it comes to being an elusive runner either. But he is more mobile than your average QB, with a fairly strong arm (a part of his game that is better than his brother). He is not a very accurate passer and has problems with touch on the ball. He also is somewhat of a single read QB, having trouble seeing more than his primary reciever...too often, he just pulls it down and runs instead of looking at other recievers. There has to be a question about his mental ability (at this level) as well.

All that said, his first shot should be at QB before trying to move him around. First because that is the position he knows best and appears to be best at right now and second because if he is sincere in rehabbing his "non-football issues" then trying to change positions at the same time just might be too much for him...at this time...
