He got released from the Raiders... If we dont keep Traylor I would love to grab this guy on a 1-2 year deal... talk about a NT... the man is a mountain!

Too old and the Dolphins defense needs to get younger.

We currently have Keith Traylor ?? Same position, same man, same ages....If you want to upgrade the DT spot, we should go after Grady Jackson...He's several years younger than Traylor or Adams, and in the same mold of player....

Yeah, if the Raiders pass on a FA, that's a red flag.

Oakland = where old FA's go to cash in and die.

yo, that cat gets his grub abit too much..

we shouldve drafted VINCE WILFORK instead of Vernon Carey..

I think if we couldn't keep Keith Traylor then Ted Washington would be an awesome replacement. He has been one of my favorite players for a while and I always wanted to see him in Miami. He is in the same mold as Keith so he would fit perfectly if Truck left. We have no real need to get someone younger because Manny Wright is gonna be our young DT of the future, but he just needs time to develop. Working under guys like Vonnie, Keith, and Ted would be great learning tools for him, and putting him into rotation with Keith/Ted would also be beneficial.

I remember the year (2003?) that the Bears went 12-4 and they were starting Keith Traylor and Ted Washington at DT. That was a monstrous D-line and if we could repeat the success they had I'd be all about it.

Big Ted, still has some shelf life. I would pursue Maake Kemoeatu from the Ravens, 6'5" 350+. Strong at the point of attack solid run stuffer can keep em off Zach and has a non stop motor. He is a 4 year undrafted free agent, his price should be right. Pair him with Manny, Vickerson, and Roth we would be young, strong, and solid for a while.

Those guys were several years younger, better, and that Bears team ran a different style defence.

I'm not sure we'd get the same result.

if truck leaves im all for having him rotate in wtih Manny, that would be a good combo at NT

Exactly, they used the Dick Jauron system. We couldn't have both of those guys with Nick Saban as coach.

I personally hope Washington and Adams go to the Bengals, because I have a soft spot for them and I love Marvin Lewis. I would love to see the Adams/Siragusa (now Washington combo).

I'd love to have big Ted. This guys performance in the superbowl for the Patriots a couple years ago was one of the most dominating games by a D lineman in NFL history. I've never seen one man dominate the run game like he did, he was taking up 3 men!
