Davis has shown promise, and I think he could be a diamond in the rough. He played in the Arena League and I am pretty sure played defensive back before returning to receiver for the Bears. So he is developing, and I am not sure his ceiling is clear. I think he would add some spark to the offense. I think he could be a good number 4 receiver and maybe a number 3 depending on the draft. In other words, he could beat out Derek Hagan.
I think Davis would be more than a special teams guy. He could contribute in long yardage situations and as a backup receiver. I know the Bears were high on his potential for awhile but then he fell behind Berrian and Bradley.
This is a kid who is an ascending player and I think could contribute and maybe even blossom with opportunity (which Miami would provide).
