Brad Johnson. He knows the system and he did a pretty good job this year. If we needed a vet to groom a young QB and it was between Johnson and Frerotte, I would prefer it be Johnson over Frerotte.

Saban could have had Johnson last offseason and he passed. I don't think he has changed his mind between now and then. If we draft a QB to groom, I think Frerotte is our man for a year or two. Besides, I think the Vikes will resign him.

In my opinion, Johnson is a better QB than Frerotte. He's a little older but he's got a ring and he's been a better pro than Frerotte. If Frerotte grooms our next QB, we are in trouble.
