Love that. I've always believed at this level it's about a 50/50 mix of talent and chemistry. All teams have talented players and not as talented players. It's the coaching and the personalities that make the difference.

I really believe Miami is that one or two teams this year that surprises the rest of the league- the team that surprises the nation.

Like 31 other NFL head coaches following roster cuts to 53 players, Adam Gase is pleased with his team. He’s convinced this group of players is the right mix of talent...

...Of experience and maturity.

...Of intelligence.

...Of ego and personality.

I really question intelligence when I see that Kiko is still on the team. Kiko doesn’t even realize which team he is on half the time.

I see your point but he has the other traits, tries hard etc. And he is athletic - he’ll be replaced when we can find someone better. Hopefully next year.

I think the part about Tannehill basically says, “I got rid of all the guys who decided not to try when I brought Cutler in because they knew it was a lost cause”. Fair enough.

I think that's a little bit unfair to Kiko without knowing if he had taken a shot to the head on the previous play. I've seen Boxer's go to the wrong corner after a round. I see Kiko attack the LOS with a lot of courage, he flies in there. He often hits the wrong hole, I'll give you that. He looked bad last year because he was asked to cover TE's and RB's out of the backfield. He's not that guy at all. I think Baker, McMillan or Minkah would be far better in that role. I don't think Kiko will be on the field for 3rd downs, he's clearly a liability in pass defense. So, I give him a pass for walking to the wrong sideline but I'd like to see him guess right more often when it comes to run support.

Could be Kiko was sending a message to the coach, that message being, "I'd rather be on another team."

Some people on this site have this ridiculous dislike for the guy and nothing he does will ever change that. They will marginalize every good play he makes and attribute it to luck and then magnify his bad plays and harp on them incessantly.
