Where is all the anger about the blatant pass interference that wasn't called on the first play of our last series....THAT was the TD right there, and the patriots got away with a major infraction, IMO.....Why haven't I heard anything about it?

You know the Pats and the refs have a special relationship.

It's been talked about here and there. It was a very very bad call. I told my friend who is a Pats fan that to watch the game and you'll notice how all of a sudden penalty's start coming around in the 4th quarter.

man, I seen it too, and was screaming for about 30 minutes over it, but what the hell can you do??? What mad me furious about it though was that they called a crap foul on Travis Daniels when BOTH players were hand checking, but let a patriot defender drape all over our WR and call nothing.....

You haven't heard anything about it because it is a given that the Pats get ALL of the calls....AND get away with murder.

tell you what...who cares about that....

I care about the 8...YES...EIGHT...OCHO....1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8...yes EIGHT OBVIOUS holding penalties on the Pats...and of course...NONE were called....

Jason Taylor I thought was a star in this league...I thought he could draw a couple of flags...I was wrong I guess.

You and me both, that made me madder than anything I saw all day. I mean the CB was literally hanging from Booker's jersey and holding his arms down! I had the sound down low and didn't hear what was said but, I kept waiting for some anger shown by somebody on the field, yet never saw anything.

That's why I said, "What did I miss?"

Glad I'm not the only one. That non-call pissed me off so much...

it's more fashionable to bash players and coaches. ref-bashing is sooo last year!

;)

Well, InFins...most of the talk on FinHeaven has been about getting rid of players and that Saban is a Joke....that's why it has not been talked about much!!!

Go Fins!!!

That's not funny! :goof:

It is almost to the point that we all just accept that the pats are going to get those kinds of calls!!....It's not like they haven't won championships getting the same favoritism.....the tuck....raping the colts receivers in the play-offs....the calls always seem to go their way when it counts most.

Now, it's like, you see it happen and don't even try to make a stink about it because it's the pats and they get those calls....like that's just the way it is.

That call right there was crucial because if the refs made the correct call we're first and goal at the one and even Air Linehan might have run the ball a couple of times from there.

To add to it, even before that: remember the somewhat weak sauce call on Daniels for PI? Well, the 3rd down for us right before that was a ball that went off Chambers diving hands. Reason he missed it and was diving. Asante Samuel was literally...unequivically...all over him from the snap until the ball rest on the ground. yes, you can touch within 5 yards, but not if the ball is in the air and definitely not during a catch. Samuels was grabbing his jersey front the entire play.

And to throw in another YES: That initial fade to Booker on teh first attempt. Hobbs was without a doubt all over him. Hit him before the ball AND had his jersey chest clutched in his paws.

Probably because we left just as many plays out there, if not more, than we did getting screwed out of one.

I am not much for blaming officials because I really believe they try and do an honest job, but I saw that too and was screaming from my end. I'm sure every fanbase says the same thing but sometimes maybe we do get a raw deal.

I am a high school football ref. That kind of play would be an obvious flag - no question about it. I mean, when a DB pushes a receiver while the ball is in flight, thereby gaining a huge advantage .... that's pass interference folks, first and goal at the one!

It started with the tuck rule, and continues four seasons later ... :shakeno: :shakeno: :shakeno:
