In everyone's opinion, what are chances that we land Rivers in a trade in SD? Like i have said many times Phillip Rivers wasn't picked 4th overall for nothing. I have herd he has struggles throwing the deep ball but honestly how can anyone really come to this conclusion? We have barely seen him play. But back to my original question what are the odds of us trading for him?

Did you see him play in the Senior Bowl? The kid was lights out. I saw no problem with his throwing skills. I would love to have him in Aqua and Orange.

The team isn't interested in him.

No i didn't get a chance to see him play at the Senior Bowl however i'm starting to wish that i did. I just read an article about all that he had achieved at N.C. State and he seems like his play is off the charts.

Why do we have a thread about Philip Rivers coming to Miami every single day on here.

1. Because not every member visits every day
2. Our QB situation is dismal

;)

Hey bro. I haven't read anything about it. Was that something Saban said?

Boomer mentioned it in a thread awhile back. I think it was something from the herald.

Probably because the QB situation has been shaky at best for quite some time. People look at a guy like Rivers, who has lots of potential and may be available, as a possible solution to what has been a major hole on the team since Marino retired.

Thanks. That's a shame IMO but I certainly won't second guess Saban's personnel decision at this point.
