WR Davone Bess vs. Jaguars CB Tyron Brackenridge: Bess ranks second in the
NFL in third-down receptions. His total of 29 trails only the
Giants'
Steve Smith. Bess is coming off career highs of 10 receptions for 117 yards in Sunday's win over New England. That included his first touchdown catch of the season, just the second of his career and his first in 24 games, dating to Game 6 against Baltimore in 2008.

Maurice Jones-Drew vs. ILBs Channing Crowder and Akin Ayodele: The Dolphins have allowed just one running back to reach 100 yards rushing in their past 14 outings. (
Thomas Jones of the
Jets went for 102 in the second meeting.) But Jones-Drew, strong and elusive despite his short stature, will get plenty of opportunities to change that stat. MJD has four 100-yard games this year and leads the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns. He is fourth in the league with 1,077 rushing yards.
