Do we assume the coaches are fine with an injured Sturgis? Or maybe we bring in someone else. I thought a thread updating kickers who have been cut and are a possibility would be good. Who do you like? Please feel free to add anyone Im missing.

Connor Bath
Zach Hocker
Giorgio tavecchio
Jay Feely
Alex henery
Dustin Hopkins

Don't know how Sturgis looked in practice last week, but if he's ready to go he stay son the team.

In the last preseason game he missed a FG (I know it was long) and his extra point looked ugly. I just don't think he is healthy. Im worried about going into the season with him.

I'm a little concerned as well, but most of the guys on that list have missed kicks in the preseason. If he is healthy or soon will be, I would stick with Sturgis.

Connor Barth or Jay Feely would be good pickups IMO. Sturgis can't be trusted.

What happens if he screws up his groin in pregame warmups again?

He had a great week in practice, then missed that long one in the game. He's a little too glassy to feel comfortable with going forward, IMHO.

Potter was looking great until he caught Caleb-itis...

I would go with someone who is PS eligible. Stick with Sturgis, but if he is not healthy, you have a call-up on the PS.

Is that what they are doing with jake Rogers? Because as far as I know he hasn't been cut yet.

We're going the anti-Sparano route here....no FGs, all TDs. 2 point conversions! All fist pumps banned from the sideline too! :chuckle:

They might consider a veteran after week one but not expecting them to make a move but could understand if they do.

Connor Barth's last 2 seasons he hit 93% then 85% of his kicks. The year at 85% he kicked 9 over 50 yards. This is a no brainer, you saw him with your own eyes Hickey!!

He's coming off an Achilles injury that kept him out all of last season. I'd be weary about bringing him in.
