Go get Jones-Drew! The running back market has been set and set real low, low risk high reward is what someone is getting when he's signed. He's been one of the top backs since he's been in the league, yes he's had his share of injuries, but he has a good 3-4 years left in him IMO. We have the cap room and wouldn't be financially buried in the guy. Miller and Thomas are not the answers at RB, we need a veteran like Jones-Drew and we can then use a mid to later round pick on a rookie back. Get it done, don't go sign a back like Moreno for the same money... Only reason his numbers were so good is because teams were so worried about the passing attack.

I'd pass. Off field issues and sat out after only being done his first half of a front loaded contract. Next!

No thanks I'll pass on jones-Drew. I'd rather the fins use a second round pick on a back. Plenty of talent at rb to go over spend on a FA back

Every team in the league has passed on him thus far. Does that say something?

Carlos Hyde in the 2nd / 3rd.

With he OL signings in FA the Fins may actually not have to draft OL each round.

Jeremy Hill is so much better of a pure runner than Hyde it's absurd. Neither one set the world on fire in pass pro.

Draft Hill.

Why waste the time & money on an old RB when you can draft a young one with fresh legs but let's calm down and wait until after the draft before we start to panic. Free agency usually slows down after the first week or two. The signing will pick up a bit right before the draft. That's when teams have their boards set and have an ideal of what will be available to them in the 1st round. I think the Fins will sign a few more players before the draft but based on team needs, the only players out there are stop gap type players. Fins needs are G, RT, MLB, RB and maybe a DB. Not a lot of system fits stars sitting out in free agency right now. Let's let the entire process play out.

If this were 4/5 years ago...great. Not now. Miller should do well if the line can actually create a hole and as everybody else said: RBs are a commodity in the 2nd/3rd.

Isn't it crazy how the league changed over the last few decades where RBs are lower value than a TE.

I just don't understand the people who don't believe Miller can be the guy based on one year behind a terrible line. Give Miller another year to prove himself, as for D. Thomas....find a replacement.

miller can't block worth a damn. and i don't think miami wants to have just a blocking back, which would give away the play. hence, bring in mjd, an excellent pass protector, and runner....and a good pass catcher

I believe Miller can be much better with some blocking up front but we still need another back. I agree tho that we sould at this point just draft one. Hoping for a bruiser that can get us some first down and that we can use on the RZ.

Ozzy rules!!

I clearly said to go get a young back in the draft, but if you plan on taking a young back and giving him the reigns your crazy. Good veteran than when healthy is a top 10 back. What kind of line and QB has Jones-Drew ever had in Jacksonville? Garrard? Come on

I am just a little concerned about him beating on his wife or girlfriend. We don't need another guy with mental issues like B. Marshall who beats on his woman. I think a better choice would be drafting Bishop Sankey or Ka'Deem Carey.
