Personelly I want to see the O line look good and a strong running game.

A few completed bombs to Gate would be nice also.

What about youz guyz ?

I want to see good stats from Henne, and strong performances across the OL. Also if Jimmy Wilson gets in the field I'd like to see him against the #1 offense.

BTW, I read somewhere that Long is playing, is this correct?

They'd be crazy to play Long. Remember last year he was in a meanless game when he got hurt I believe. Give Murtha all the work he can get. We may need him on the other side sooner than later.

I'm looking for Gates to get a bomb, our D to create some turnovers. And some of the tweener guys to make a spot on the roster for themselves (Jimmy Wilson)

Keys to improving over last year ... against Tampa & Dallas ...

Henne has to show significant improvement over last year, when someone actually plays D. Bonus for some audibles & break the blitz (a dream).
RB Thomas has to show he can play in the NFL, & not just against a leaky D like last week.
O-Line needs to be at least average ... anything else is a bonus.

Get some Turnovers on D.
Don't let TEs gut us on the middle seam.
Not make any big D mistakes.

Henne hit Hartline for a deep pass, and Fasano last game. Let's see more of that. Henne hit the deep ball. Thomas run with confidence. Bush, just make a few big plays. How about an INT this game? Overall, I just want to see Miami come out and do what they did last game with the starters. Control the game. Score points on offense. Stop them on defense. Tampa is better than Carolina. They are a middle of the road team. We should be able to beat their starters. After the starters go out, I'm not really too interested.

Vonta and Sean have been doing lots of talking.

Love to see them back it up with a couple picks and solid coverage.

:idk: i wanna see tony fist-pump a field-goal
so we get to read 10 threads on it..

Would love our secondary to get tested this game
Want Henne to have a strong performance against a pretty solid Bucs defense
Once again the OLine needs to be tough, I saw alot of good things from them last week.
Which WR is going to stick out? Will we connect with Gates? Will Moore redeem himself? Will Livas return another kick for a tD? Where's Wallace?
Wanna see a more consistent pass rush from the front 7

i wanna see Lots of LJ and see if he still has it
i wanna see some sacks and burnett and dansby shuting down winslow
will we be able to contain freeman?

OL...they are our weak link...and the QB of course...

I would like to see Henne dictate the tempo of the game. Use hurry up, even when not needed. Use fake signals and keep the defense on their heels. I want to see him get excited.

That'd be awesome.

But remember, we've been tempted before lol. We can just hope this time its different.

3 & outs from our d....stout against the run especially....I wanna see our o, henne in particular, move the ball consistently down the...getting the ball to our playmakers...I'm not too big on stats, I want henne to pass the "eye test"...

This +1

The typical Henne stuff plus him connecting with Gates on a bomb, establishing Gates as a legit deep threat and opening up the O for the rest of the season.

I'd actually like to see Long in the game (everybody needs to shake off rust, even a probowler) and I'd like to see Murtha shifted over to RT. I'm still skeptical on the OL and running game. I wanna see big phatty holes and Thomas and Bush busting through untouched for many glorious TD's.

So, deep threat and running game = winning! <-- the two things the team didn't have last season. Get those going and even with 2010 Henne it's a 10 win season. If C-Bot 2.0 with the Daball upgrade patch works out it could be a fun season of drinking for joy, not sorrow.
