just wondering what college team was represented the most on our team..

2 noles

at least 2 for Texas A&M

Good question - no canes, unfortunately (we can sort that on sunday - I'd be pleased with either of Vilma, Williams, Carey or if Wilfork fell, at 20)

Whitley, Yates, McKinney and Ronald Flemons are from Texas A&M

Mare, Greenwood, Konrad - Syracuse
Tony Brown, Reggie Howard and Wade Smith - Memphis

Greg Jerman and Derrius Thompson - Baylor
Junior Seau and Sammy Knight - USC
Jenkins and Freeman - South Carolina
Sammy Morris and Zach Thomas - Texas Tech
Chambers and Nick Davis - Wisconsin
Ronald Bellamy and Eric Wilson - Michigan
Minor and Minnis - Florida State
Korey Banks and Donald Lee - Mississippi State
Josh Mallard and McMichael - Georgia
Terrence Wilkins and St Clair - Vriginia

It would make sense that we dont have any Canes on our roster as they are always high draft picks and the only way we will have one is if we finish somewhere around 4-12, 5-11,6-10 or FA at the end of their career. I would love to get Vilma in the draft we have a better chance of winning the SB then getting Vilma. :shakeno:

Yeah, but even low round guys, and undrafted guys.

Twan Russell was the last.

Aaron Hunt is also from Texas Tech.

I'd love Wilfork at 20 if somehow he fell that low but I doubt it. I doubt we go for Vilma but is posible.

Ozzy rules!!

Actually, Wilfork put on some weight and his stock may be falling. I doubt he'll be there for us, but it's at least a possibility.

This year there are not may canes I would really want. The ones I would like (Wilfork, Sean Taylor, and maybe Carey) either will be gone, or I am not totally sold on(Carey).

thanks finsnchips for finding that for me.

its pretty interesting that we have that many texas A&M players..

we also have T-buck from Fsu

so that puts us at 3 noles..

maybe we should start drafting more players from the florida schools..we all know florida produces the best players... :D

We haven't got T-Buck... he has no contract with us.... yet!

Not only a lot of Texas A&M players, but a lot of young linemen.

I really like Billy Yates... i hope he gets to start at RG.

I wish we had more 'Canes, but all of them are usually taken before our pick every year :(
