Just curious to know what the personalities on both shows had to say about the Green deal getting completed. Anyone watch any of them?
 
Wilbon said that he doesn't know, that we've messed up alot in the past.
"I don't trust the Dolphins"

Funny thing is, I can imagine Wilbon saying exactly that. Did you not get to see ATH?
 
i didnt see either also but i did see jim rome is burning and he just trashed the dolphins and trent saying he was too old and basically that we've been looking for our saviour since marino retired and we just look stupid at this point.....w/e not like it think too much into that, im a supporter of trent and as long as he can bring consistency to the offense and stability then i think we will be a serious team to mess with
 
I always thought they were pretty decent but it seems as though they just want to hop on the bash Fins wagon. Oh well at least they do recant when wrong.

I see Trent Green as a "Gus Ferrotte" type with slightly more talent...So we were 9-7 with Ferrotte...So if the rest of our team can mesh and Green knows the offense like it sounds he does...They sky could be the limit....

I caught ATH, and it was a buy/sell segment. 3 of the guys bought it saying how Green is a former pro bowler and Daunte isn't healthy. Platschke sold saying the phins should give Daunte a chance to get healthy and compete for the starter's job before they trade him. Kinda sounded like the boards here...

That's a fair comparison. Very similar situations for both quarterbacks.
 
people are going to think I 'm crazy, but green will be a young 37 this year, he been in the league 14 years, but the 1st 5 years he never played. plus only 2 major injuries in his career. one in 99 and his concussion last year.

also with him being motivated to prove a point, I think he will have a good year.
