What did you all think of Brady Quinn's performance on Thursday night?

I thought he looked really good for his first game. I think back to that day when I was cheering he was still on the board at #9 and the Phins freaking passed on him!!!!! I still think it was a HUGE BLUNDER committed by Cam when he passed on Quinn and selected Ginn.

What do you all think after last Thursday: Do you agree it was a huge mistake passing on Quinn or do you think we are better off in the future with Henne or Beck and Ginn?

I Cant Believe We Past Up On The Single Greatest Quarter Back Ever To Lace Up His Cleats!

Funniest thing ever! Seriously, at this point who cares? If we had a time machine that could go back and change Dolphins mistakes of this decade, Quinn wouldn't be near the top of my list.

He sure is pretty. If I had his looks, I would get it on with so many women I would have STD's that haven't even been discovered yet.

I thought Quinn looked really good, and will likely be a good NFL QB, if not a great one. This conversation will invariably turn to why we selected Ginn instead, to which I (who am NOT a Ginn apologist or superfan) will remind you that the concept during that draft was that the brass decided they were better off ending up with Ginn + Henne, instead of Quinn and another receiver. They didn't feel Ginn would be available later if they selected Quinn in R1. I'm not supporting that decision or even saying it will pay off, but when you compare Quinn to Ginn, you have to factor in that we sort of went for a "2-fer", instead of drafting the best possible player at that position, so to speak.. hope that makes sense.

Kinda early. I dont like quinn. He had a good game but lost. Ginn has had his ups and downs. Look like he is starting to get it. Cant help if he is double covered. Give the guy a chance he showed 2 weeks ago he can do it if he can. Henne time will tell. I was mad when we drafted him but got used to it. I still would like to see what Beck can do with a good team.

I think the BROWNS qb did a nice job playing for the BROWNS, and that the BROWNS had a nice shot at winning that game. He definately was a great choice for the BROWNS.

Thanks goodness slipperysoap hasn't been around.....for those who remember....

Oh. So THAT'S how it happened. More acceptable now.

Well, he's off to a better start than Ryan Leaf by comparison.....

Leaf started 2-0 as a starter i believe but was playing horrendous football.

It was Ginn + Beck actually, but the point stands. The idea was to get a #1 WR and a QB in that draft.

Quinn looked good, but he was playing a poor Denver defense, at home, and throwing short passes all game. Let's see how he does against some better defenses, and better teams overall.

I think he'll be a decent QB, but not elite by any means.

He was playing arguably the worst pass defense in the league.(with the injuries in their secondary):rolleyes2:

This is true, but he did his job. You can't blame him for that loss, or his 0-1 record. He played a very conservative game and had a lot of success doing it in time we'll see him make throws down field, and see if he's got what it takes. But again, he played pretty good even if it was against a horrible defense at home, unfortunately his team crumbled around him especially the defense.
