This Philbin coaches team is the same since he started here. Even with the off-season this team plays the same as it has since he arrived. I was bashed when I said I had no faith in this team because of him... He and this coaching staff is bad.

Yeah I agree. Just disappointing, bring in new coaching staff and that might mean cleaning house. I'm so tired of going through that phase.

FWIW I didn't want Philbin as coach either, I wanted McCoy that year when it was a choice between those 2. Ultimately Ross put his dumbazz foot down and chose the deer in the headlights.

We have to bring in someone who commands respect as a head coach so then we can build a respectable coaching staff. Also, I don't want a former Jets reject (Tannenbaum) calling the shots either.

What has me shocked is how easily the Redskins and Jaguars moved up and down the field on us. Where has Suh been? The team looks like it isn't prepared, can't tackle, can't stop the other team from long ball control drives. Seems like Coyle is the problem, or the players are not buying what Coyle and Philbin are selling.

I am one of the biggest "anti-homers" on this sight, but to be honest...I didn't even think we would be bad enough to lose to Jacksonville. The clock management with the timeout penalty was just ridiculous. Philbin shouldn't even be an HS coach. There are probably some towns in Texas where they would run him out of town if he did that, even at the HS level!

Philbin wouldn't know how to tell any assistant a damn thing.
while this made me laugh (thank you, needed that) you are probably right about the HS comment. That decision was the difference in the game. It was a 6 perhaps 10 point swing. How can he not understand the value of a TO? The one on 4th and 11 last year cost us the GB game and the this one cost us the game yesterday. He's a clueless idiot who I just really cannot stand even looking at anymore. Total dufus.

shula was so classy he went along w it and said he decided to retire. He loves the Dolphins. I don't think he put the curse on us. Perhaps the football Gods did though.
