What do we have to do to host the texans ?

They will be the easiest imho...or the raiders.
 
We have to cheer loudly next Sunday. The team has to win. Then the chiefs have to lose.

edit. We will not host. Game will be there regardless.
 
Houston will host...even if we climb up to the 5th seed. Division leaders get a home game to start the playoffs.
 
Host? They're either playing the Steelers or the Texans on the road.

Next week, root for the Chargers and Raiders... and Dolphins of course!
 
Convince the NFL to change the playoff seeding rules.

I'm OK with division winners -- even winners of trash divisions like the South -- getting a guaranteed berth, but the team with the better record should host the game.
 
Only way we host is if the 5th and 6th seeded teams meet up in the afc championship game. We'd have to the fifth. Oh and that has never happen before.

Either game is winnable even if trash Matt Moore starts.
 
If we win and the chiefs lose then we play Houston. We can't host anyone in the first 2 rounds though.
 
Would love to see the NFL go to having the top 6 best records in each Conference make the playoffs, regardless of the division.
History got thrown out the window when they went to 4 divisions in each Confrence. Not fair that 9-7 or .500 divisional winners get in over teams that wound up with better records in a division that they didn't win. Take the top 6!
 
Does anyone think we should rest certain players against NE? I know Houston would be ideal, but we match up pretty well against Pittsburgh

I'd hold out Maxwell. That's about it. The difference between going to Houston and going to Pittsburgh is probably having to score 30+ to win vs having to score 17. I truly believe SD has a shot to beat Kansas City, so we should do everythin we can to beat The Pats and draw the TEXANS
