think about Nate Salley (safety out of Ohio State). We definitely need help in our secondary especially at the safety position. I can say the guy is a beast, lays monster hits, comes up to help with the run when needs be, and reads QB's well. He's been starting for the Buckeyes since his freshman year and was their captain this year. Some are saying he may be a late first... what are your opinions on the guy??

He's a good hitter and pretty good in coverage, i have him going early in the 7th.

I like him a lot. I have read that Frentz holds him in high regard which should influence Saban's opinion of him. He is a local kid as well.

He has size, speed, and he plays smart.

He isn't yet getting the pub of some of the other S prospects, there is a deep class this year which could affect his position in the draft. I haven't seen him in any recent first round projections. He would be a strong value pick in the 3/4 round IMHO but this is all conjecture until the combine.

We have a good chance of getting him then. We have at least 3 seventh round picks in the 06 draft.

re:

I like him as a phin. If he's available when you guys say he's gonna go we gotta take him.

I've watched the guy play since his high school days because he's also an alum of St. Thomas Aquinas. We'll see how he does in the combine... if he's hanging around in the 3-7 range, we better grab him.

as a michigan fan I've watched him crush us for some time now,

Since I can't beat em I'd rather have him gone us!
