What do you guys want more a great defense and a average offense or great Offense and an average defense.

Great offence, good-ok defence.
Most of the teams in the playoffs are great on offence, with good to ok defences.
the pats are dominant because they can blow out so fast you can't catch up and have to go to the pass and abandon the running game. too win on a regualr basis you need to score over 24 points a game. How many years did we have a D that was lights out and we still didn't win big games regularly.

Remember the Ravens that won the superbowl not to long ago. They had a great defense and a barely average offense with Trent Dilfer at QB.You must build your defense 1st.Our offense is going to get there very quickly as soon as we get our QB situation under control.

BOTH....we had a great offense with Marino but the running game was not really there.....the defense was pretty decent at times, but we just never seemed to be able to put it all together in the 80s, 90's, and 00's.

I"d go with a Gr8 defense and average offense. Heck, we used to have that a few years ago. Gr8 defense, average offense. We just had a terrible coach in Wannestache!!!:rickybrow

Our 84 offence with our defence of the late 90's early 2000.....imagine an offence with Marino,Duper and Clayton, an o-line of Stevenson,Newman and Kuechenburg and then a defence with JT,Zach,Surtain,Sam,Gardner,Bowens and Marion....that team woulod beat the pats everytime.
