EDIT: NO takes CB houston/NE takes FB Brian Leonard

I created it myself...spent quite a bit of time doing research. I think its possible Pitt bites the bullet and moves up to take their guy (Levi Brown) once we pass on him. They know Houston will take him if there at 10...and if they want him bad enough its a small price to pay to keep their line in tact for years to come. Houston wants to try and move down and has increasingly been more interested in Staley...I think its very likely they're willing to drop a few spots to take their prospect and pick up a pick in the process...they're not as sold on Brown.

I think that something similar to this has to happen for us to have a chance of snatching Quinn...if Peterson is taken before Minny then things are not looking good for Quinn Lovers.

I'm concerned about NE picking up the Rutgers fullback Brian Leonard

As long as the 49ers don't have the opportunity to take Okoye or Carriker...they take Patrick Willis and steal the Bill's hopes to replacing their LB problem! Which will hopefully lead to another poor choice head-case RB for the billyz!

I'd say it's a pretty solid effort. I actually think Arizona will take Peterson, but it's a decent crack at it.

Pretty darn good. I would not hate that scenario. Quinn, Okoye or Branch would keep me happy.

Why would N.O. want a 1st round RB when they have other needs such as CB ? I'd love to trade down but to be taking Brown in the first and Sears or Kalil (R.H. then moving to guard) in the second gives a solid line for years.

Any scenario where we get Quinn and don't have to trade up is sweeeeeet by me...

That would mean, to me, that the second and third rounds are wide open. We can truly take the BPA at that point or fill needs, either way we win...

any mock with Quinn going to us at #9 is a good one

detroit wouldnt let russel fall to three, they have their own QB problems...but if thats the way it happened you wouldnt here me complaining

It's good for the most part, but why do you have New Orleans taking Brian Leonard? How did you come to that decision? Just interested.

I agree 100%. This would be a dream scenario.

Oh, and if we want Quinn it looks like we'd better hope Oakland takes Russell so Johnson is available for Tampa. According to Pat Kirwan, if Quinn falls to Tampa they will take him.

I don't believe Kirwan on this one. QB is one of the few places TB needs to address

Aside from the previous mentioned fact that NO wouldnt take a RB in the first 4 rounds much less the first. If you had NO taking Brian Leonard in the 4th that would be much more accurate

Jon Gruden was apparently "blown away" by Quinn's workout for the Bucs at the weekend, but in this draft process, Gruden has so far fallen in love with Calvin Johnson, Amobi Okoye, Quinn and Adrian Peterson.

Which one he takes to the alter may impact who we get hitched to at pick 9. Or possibly pick 5/6.

damn Gruden loves everyone in the draft doesn't he

When a guy is in love with every prospect that may fall on his lap it usually means he wants to trade out of the spot. I think if CJ is not there on the board at #4 they are going to do all that they can to trade out. Problem is its very hard to trade a top 10 pick

Damnit, it seems I was looking at the 49ers roster when I was making that decision. They're in need of a FB! Obviously the 9ers aren't going to be in position to get Leonard in the 1st but I think they keep their eye on him in Round 2! If he falls that far...hes a damn good FB. New Orleans takes a CB to fill their dire-most need.
