Is he still a piece of crap in your books? Or do u think he is just young and needs to be groomed?? He has been doing quite well lately.....he made a sack against, Buffalo was it? He made an INT last game. Do u think we should keep him??

He is still a liability.

He is still a piece of crap.

He isn't young.

He hasn't been doing anything better as of late and I can't believe people keep saying this in the last 2 days just because he had an INT. The guy is getting beat game after game after game. Saban gave him props yesterday for one basic reason..to try and make him believe he can actually play, because Saban knows he is stuck with him.

Well said. I gave him the benefit last year of playing nickel when he came from being a starting CB. I figured this year would be his last chance when he was moved back into the regular CB role and spent less time at nickel.

So far, he hasnt played great and has played NOWHERE near to what we paid him. Thanks Wanny/Spielman.

People are such short term thinkers here. This week he has a good game and he is ok, next week when he gets torched he will be back in the craphouse.

In the long term, he isnt worth his pay and wont be in Miami next year unless he has a miracle second half of the season.

he must be streaky as a player. remember, he was horrible in early preseason, then he picked up his game to where it looked like he didn't have a problem. then the regular season started. i do think saban's onto something when he says reggie has lost his confidence. maybe the plays he made in the last game will help him make more. you don't make the plays the guy has made in his career without having the ability.

you're most likely right here. he has to seriously pick it up or he won't be here next year.

Seriously.....WHAT PLAYS HAS HE MADE in his career????? NONE! 1 INT in the Super Bowl. Does the name Larry Brown or Lionel Washington ring a bell, and they had multiples.

Him getting the contract he did was as asinine as Cleveland paying GARY friggin BAXTER what they did this last offseason. He was trash here in Baltimore or else they would have paid him the money CLeveland gave him...because they gave that to Samari Rolle instead.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! same **** i said about the fact we won against a **** FACED TEAM. ppl are all bandwagoners on this forum, well majority atlesat. you guys would be perfect ESPN analysists or commentators. I can't believe i even saw this thread. Just b/c he had an INT by a stuipd mishap you think he is getting bettter? did u see how many times he got beat as well? or that is overshadowed by theINT?

I disagree......

I had a very low opinion of Howard entering the game. I thought he would be exploited over and over, but he wasn't. There were maybe 3 or 4 passes completed to his receiver, but on every one of them he had solid coverage. Even discounting the interception I was very impressed. Does that meant he's great? No, but it does mean that he's probably not as bad as we thought. I thought he didn't have the ability to cover NFL receivers, but apparently he does, but we need to get him to do it successfully on a more consistent basis.
