After a day to ponder the loss...IM STILL PISSED... I'm tired of being outcoached every freakin game. So what does Philbin do to help us? OC call plays nope, DC specialty nope:crazy: . I don't know what he does but walk up and down the sideline talking to the freakin ST coach and making stupid decisions. Green Bays coach in a crucial situation knew and had practiced a specific play to throw to a TE if a small DB was covering him. If it didn't work they knew it was quick and had time for another play. We have 4th and goal, you would think we have a set play for that situation to go for it... NOPE hand it off up the middle from 5 yards back... AWESOME. I like our current roster, I just want a coach that brings an advantage not a disadvantage every week. I'm so tired of having stupid coaches that are outcoached every game...
That was a game that the Dolphins players won, but our coaches snatched victory from them and gave it to the Packers.
 
He puts together a mean powerpoint presentation!

Later on Monday, Philbin and his fellow offensive coaches would split up game plan responsibilities — third down, red zone, blitz, short yardage, goal line, etc. – and collaborate on Tuesday morning to put it all together in a PowerPoint presentation. Later on Tuesday, Philbin would present that week’s game plan to McCarthy, and then to the players in a meeting on Wednesday morning.
Everything about that presentation had to be perfect.
“If any PowerPoint slide had a spelling or grammar mistake, any typo, any scheme error, that was my responsibility, just like a teacher,” Philbin said.
“If I presented something to the offense, they knew it was going to be done right and done professionally, and I expected them to do the same thing. If I get up there and show them something sloppy or half-assed, the players are going to notice that, too.”

He brings a complete lack of head coaching experience at any level of football...prior to being hired by the Dolphins, that is.

The ability to make game decisions prior to the game, and not change them regardless or what is happening in the game.
