What dolphin player did we let get away.

After looking at w.welker sun. I got to thinking in recent years most players that we let go have only had marginal success or maybe a little more. Now going back some more years players like tony martin come to mind. Let's think about this before we let ginn go next year. Who are yours.
 
Well Wes wasnt given away he was traded for a 2nd and 6th round pick. Wes was criminally underused in Miami. To this day i would still give up Wes for a second and 6th. Even more now that we can actually draft. Wes on our team would be a less shifty Bess with marginally better hands and in no way any godsend WR. I know that wasnt the Q but i have to address it.
 
I guess chris chamber could count as marginal success so far
 
That was the right move at that point in time. Wes was what bess is today. No one could have known.
 
Chambers had much more success with us. Come on 35 and up people who is that player we let go that had more success after leaving.
 
Troy vincent that was jimmy j being a control freak. He didn't like coming to a team with too many vets. I remember his replacements were jb.brown and clayton jackson yuk.
 
The one that got away (even though never technically a Dolphin) was Drew Brees. We had him all but locked up and then we waffled because of the arm thing and decided to go with Culpepper instead. That mess-up changed the course of our franchise history for years after that. We are finally starting to get all that mess fixed now and finally turning the corner. What could have been????
