Here's something that went right this Dolphins season: Jarvis Landry. He plays receiver like the middle linebacker he was in high school. He chases down passes like he did Tre Mason in knocking out the Auburn kick returner (and current St. Louis Ram) in college.
"They had to carry him off,'' Landry said.
He then leveled Mason's replacement that game, Onterio McCalebb, with a five-star kickoff tackle still on YouTube.
"Same guy! Landry! And he's a receiver!" the Louisiana State announcer said that afternoon.

This is what the Dolphins need: More Landrys. More with his toughness. More with his mindset. And work ethic? What made General Manager Dennis Hickey sweat Landry would be available in the second round, why he leads the team with 63 catches, can be understood by the Jugs Machine Story .
This is from LSU. It carries over to the Dolphins. It involves the passing machine receivers practice with and goes simply like this:
"He used it so much he broke it,'' LSU receivers coach Adam Henry said.
"I broke two machines, actually,'' Landry says.

Love the story about him that came out before the draft that the Dolphin's coaches asked all the DB's who was the most difficult WR they had to cover and the majority answered Landry.

No doubt we need more play makers at WR. Saddling Tannehill with Hartline, crackhead speed guy, and a post injury Gibson has been a failure.

This crop of rookies may go down as the best ever when all is said and done.

This WR class is just amazing and I am glad Hickey had the smarts to snatch one up. He may not have that 40 speed everyone loves so much but Landry makes plays. Can not be happier to have him on our team.

Also I think Landry leads all rookie WR in receptions...

with all due respect, I bet that ***** #4 for Auburn never saw the field again. wanted no part of blocking Landry

I agree with the needing more guys like Landry. On every play the kid gives it his all. That's the issue with Wallace, Wallace may care a lot, but it doesn't show in his actions. Landry wants it bad, and is developing nicely, I hope this continues and we can find more guys like him.

Landry has made the season more exciting no doubt.

He is like OJ McDuffie meets Hynes Ward out there.

What we need is some draft picks on defense like Landry and Juwan.

A LINEBACKER, SAFETY AND db is what is on Santa's list. :D
