Thought I'd post some message boards (not in any way an exhaustive list)
from other teams regarding their take on Quinn. Interesting.

Cleveland
The majority of people don't seem to impressed.

Here is the deal. To me Quinn is a mixed bag and perhaps the FO thinks so too. There were times in college where he looked like the real deal. See USC-ND game in '05. He made the tough passes from one side of the field to the other sidelines, right trajectory, velocity, etc. Things that usually translates to success at the next level. Showed smarts and seemed to listen to his coaches.

Then gets his head handed against to him other top notch competition; USC game this past year, Sugar Bowl, and Michigan. Looked too timid in those games, seemed to lose his mobility, at times under or over throwing receivers etc. Is the case of which Quinn shows up or a knock on the talent leve around him?

After his Junior year he looked like the next great qb prospect. I still think he could pan out. He will need to get on the right team that is a fit for him. In S. Fl he would be under oh so much pressure given the circumstances and our past at QB. I would be afraid too many fans would want to immediately annoint him as the next Marino and such.

If Mule-Cam believe in him I think they would do what they can to trade up. But it will probably be too much we are willing to pay. I mean basically you have to be sold on a guy 110% to move up in to the top 5 or 6 picks to get him. So, if they think that failures in key contests this past year had more to do with the talent level around him and they believe in his arm and his brain that much they will pull the trigger. Personally, I would not be surprised if it does not happen as in the FO believeing the risk outweighs the reward.
 
I would rather take Levi Brown or Tedd Ginn and then Colby with our 60th pick as our future quarterback.
 
Man this is weird i literally was about to post this same topic went to the browns and lions message boards...they seem to be like u guys said pretty mixed about quinn...what i dont understand about that tho is how can you not be mixed about a qb prospect? i mean honestly its the most volitale to gauge postion in the draft and teams like the lions and the browns are honestly nuts not to take this kid with the states of there franchises and the lack of a true offensive difference maker outside of calvin johnson, that being said heres another candle lit for quinn dropping to the 5-6 region of the draft and a reasonable trade up for us......11 days till RANDYCAM Draft 2007 extravaganza

Nobody will have a problem if we take him @ 9. I think there's a good chance he'll be an immediate upgrade over Gibran.
