What happend to Kelly Campbell?

I remember a few weeks ago reading in the miami herald that a verbal deal had been struck with Campbell. The only thing holding up the deal was the cba agreement had to be agreed upon do to the incentive package included in the contract. Has anyone heard any news about this?

i thought campbell was signed a few weeks back.....if so, he is a good addition. hell, maybe he can reunite with Culpepper

no idea. I have not been able to find any official word on the signing.

why is everyone continuing to ask about this guy...HE HAS DONE NOTHING in the NFL. In fact, there is one show they keep playing on NFL Network of a Vikings game and Kelly Campbell had a good game. He was ranting and raving and trying to pump up Moss and the offense on the sideline, and you could tell by the looks on their faces they wanted to say "Dude...STFU and sit down, you have had one good game!"

The only reason I ask about him is the fact they said he would replace Gilmore, and he is a special teams ace.

I'd rather have Gilmore. Just as fast, and physically bigger. Plus he has been a good team player for us.


Also, I don't know how to say this, but in seeing Campbell on TV, reading about him, and in that show I spoke of, he has a bit too much of the thuggish ruggish bone attitude
