What happened to Cobbs?

He was lights out earlier in the season and now seems to be invisible. Did he even play outside of STs? I do believe we offered him a new contract and all..

We need to keep Cobbs in the game!
 
Every game the coaching staff seems to experiment by putting the spotlight on different players. Heading into our end of the year showdown with the Jets and potentially the playoffs, this will be huge because teams won't have any one player to key in on.

Cobbs will re-emerge when the time is right. And he's still a ST stud even when he's not running or catching the ball. He had a nice tackle on punt coverage yesterday.

We ran like what 2 plays yesterday on Offense? heehehe :lol:. Cobbs normally touches the ball atleast once or twice a game, i just think that our short time on offense left alot of plays not run yesterday.

he is great but ronnie and ricky are a lil more reliable seeing what they already done and these are some key games especially how tight that spot is

we didn't play a lot of snaps on offense yesterday. that hurt him more than anything IMO. he's a valuable asset to us, be it as receiver, runner, blocker or special teamer.
 
I think we've got something cooked up for the Jets. Something tells me TS and co. is gameplanning and hiding something. Maybe they'll unleash something new in the wildcat. Notice we ran it only once this week. I hope we can gameplan something to blow them out. BTW i heard someone say it was now SNF. Is that true?

Agreed. It is all in their gameplanning. They go after whatever a teams weakness is...One week it will be TE coverage by the LBs...next it will CB's with poor 1-on-1 tackling...next it will be a porous front line... Also, they don't seem to overuse either...that will be good because then teams don't get alot of keys on us....they have to cover everyone because we don't always use the same players each week. It is a very good formula if we can just keep it up...
 
He wasn't missing...he made a very important tackle on a punt return and was very much involved on a special teams that helped us win the battle of field position.
 
All I know is that i hope we see a lot more of him over the next 6 weeks

I think polite happened, It seemed as his role increased, cobbs role decreased. Hopefully, they find a play or two for cobbs in the next two weeks.
