What the hell happened to the D on that Last Cardinals drive???? They were getting pressure and sacking him all game then that final drive they started playing soft.......should've never been in OT after that awesome TD bomb from Tannehill to Hartline.

The d-line just couldn't carry the secondary all game. Nothing new here. It's typical Miami. No matter how well we play for 3 quarters, the bad tendencies always come back.

The line couldn't carry the secondary anymore because they got tired, so we played soft coverage and well you know....

There's only so much you can do after using up all your energy and getting 8 sacks. They were piss tired, that's when they had to rely on the secondary. I mean hell, On that last 4th quarter drive I believe they got Kolb into a 3rd and 18, and they still got 16 yards on a curl route. And on the TD on 4th down they forced Kolb to slide to the left side of the pocket, essentially forcing him to throw one direction, and Sean Smith still didn't recover.

Props to Misi on that final drive with two sacks. 16 yards on 3rd and 18 kept them in the game :(

On that TD play, both Smith and Jones (?) fell for Kolb looking inside and then could not recover when he came back to Roberts - ridiculous stuff.

That was a perfect pass and even though smith played exceptionally that was on him he has outside jones covers him crossing

I think it was Smith and Marshall. Think about it: our two starting corners zone covering a so-so receiver (not Fitzgerald) and the receiver still manages to get wide open and catch the ball.

They should have called their last time out and regrouped. the line couid have gotten their breath back and assignments could have solidified.

hindsight...blah blah blah
