Brewer was a very bad guard. He was a full time starter in 2022, but that was his third year in the league. He played his first two and much of that was a deteriorating Lewan.
4th year he played well on an oline that was terrible. I am happy we have him and hope he stays here. And as a center.
He was not very bad in 2022 as the Titans' LG. Please stop with that ridiculous notion. He was average/middling at worst. A very bad guard would be Jonah Savaiinaea in 2025. Surely you can see the differences between the two.

Brewer has improved a lot with us. I'd keep him and draft Connor Lew as his understudy.
If we keep Brewer then drafting Lew would be too much of an investment in the Center position since he is a projected 3rd round pick.

I would target a player like Pat Coogan who we could get in the 5th or maybe even the 6th if we trade down and acquire a 6th. He would provide better depth and could potentially be a long term replacement if Brewer becomes too expensive.

He will hold out for a better contract is going to be my guess

Well, to be fair, what a young player was 4 years ago may have little bearing on what he is today.

Are you seriously holding the perception that he sucked in 2022 as an argument against today?

Yea, it's as ridiculous as it sounds.

Huh????????

Say what?

Make some other stuff up.
