the man has said he will not coach Alabama...people on here are pouncing upon unsubstantiated reports citing unnamed sources...
do not let the media win its crusade against Saban...
We're WAY passed the "it's the media pumping a fabricated story" point. I don't know where you've been but there are in fact verified reports that he has met with Bama officials and that he is in fact considering (some say has already agreed to ) taking the Bama job.
He continued to say that he hadn't spoken to any Bama people when his agent was talking to them all along.
If he wasn't interested in the job this would have ended immediately. He lied about his intentions, plain and simple...
He talked about being with his wife when he skipped out on the press conference, when in all probability he was dealing with Bama at that time...

Saban said "I WILL NOT COACH ALBAMA". Just answer me one question, why would he meet with them??????.when in all probabality? who are you to say
and please tell me how this could have ended immediately? from my recollection, from his own mouth came the words "I WILL NOT COACH ALABAMA"
now you let unsubstantiated reports by jay glazer and other pinheads alter your common sense
So he can keep food on the table right?. PLEASE the man now looks like a fool either way.I'm with the poster on this one. Saban flatly said " I AM NOT GOING TO BE THE COACH AT ALABAMA" but yet and still people are still asking him about it. I can see how a man would get frustrated after answering a question multiple times and being asked the same question over and over again, i'd be upset too. Its his agents job to take listen to offers especially one thats talking 40mil. He wouldnt be doing his job if he didn't and also i'm sure its some personal motivation there for the agent, whats his commission on a $40 millon deal? And as for saban he would be a fool not to at least listen to them, even if he has no intentions of leaving. Scenario, what if saban declines to even entertain Alabama, and stays with the dolphins, goes 6-10 again and wayne fires his ***, then what? Now he's out of a job, and looks like a clown for turning down 40mil he owes it to his family and to himself to at least consider taking the deal, especially with the high turnover rate in the NFL coaching arean.
