Yes, It's Chad Ocho Cinco, but I'm boycotting that hideous name change.

WIth an homage and all props to Bum Phillipps, for year the Patriots have taken your'n and beaten our hisn, theirn and beaten ourn, whatever. They got from us former Dolphins Larry Izzo, Sammy Morriss, Heath Evans, Wes Welker, Rob Ninkovich, Will Allen (recent signing) and a few others and have beaten us with their help, looking smart in the process.

Now it's our turn- I'm inclined to think that Chad was either mismanaged in New England or wasn't a good fit, and that Joe Philbin and Mike Sherman will actually get better production out of Chad than Bellichick did by wisely playing to his strenghts instead of focusing on his mental/playbook limitations. Just line the dude up and play, he's an all-pro talent and he's a WR PLAY MAKER- does any team in the league need production out of one of those more than us?

I love the signing and I think that he'll have a very good year for us. I'd like to see a lot of him and Jeff Fuller out there, with Gates stretching the field if he's ready to go this year.

Exactly. Former Pats Ocho and Gary Guyton will be motivated to get revenge on the team that let them go.

Chad is a bit more over the Hill then these other guys...I hope Chad plays well for us...but if he doesnt then its not gonne be like this big disaster..this was a low risk high reward possible kind of a move...

The only way this does blow up in Miami's face is if Chad all of sudden becomes a TO type and starts throwing ppl under the bus....But he has never been that way...that I know of..He took the blame last year when he was not making plays..and was looking for any help from his Qb to get better.

If Chad Ochocino does well here, it wont be because "Miami knew how to use him, but NE didnt", it will be because "Miami has a simpler and less diciplined offense". Thats just the way the media spins things.

I think that New England failed in terms of maximizing what they could have out of Chad. They should have simplified his responsibilities and let him do what he does best- play football.

If they actually needed Chad, I suspect they would have found how to use him. The truth of the matter is, NE didnt really need Chad at all. They had Gronk, Hernandez, Welker, and Branch. Even if Chad knew the offense, I couldnt see him getting thrown to much more than he did.

NE is thin at WR besides Welker and Branch. They should have used him better, especially with Gronk playing sub par because of the ankle injury.

Last years Super Bowl...they could have used Chad.

NE has won the Super Bowl with worse talent then Chad Johnson at WR.

I'm guessing Chads freelancing severally pissed-off Tommy Boy,

But they didnt. Mostly because they had better receivers, like the ones I mentioned above. Its not Chad's fault that Welker dropped that pass at the end of the game.

No they didn't they were begging Chad to step up and he didn't. What better WRs are supposedly better that were there not named Wes?

I said "receivers", not wide receivers. I'd condiser Gronk, Hernandez, Welker and Branch better receiving options for Brady than Ochocinco was.

Nobody was begging Chad for anything.

I think the main reason that we signed Ocho is because Gates has trouble learning the playbook and needs to work on route adjustments..

Exactly. Brady hardly looked Chads way. He was only in an average of 20 snaps anyway.

i just wish chad would've pulled a welker and said in his press conference that the entire time he was standing on sidelines for pats he really wished he was a dolphin.
