What I really liked about this staff is that they seem to get it. They see what we fans have seen for so far too long..

1-that Jason Fox sucks and they cut him
2-that Earl Mitchel sucks
3-that Tannehill is not a leader
4-that Tannehill must be protected
5-its about the players and not the scheme.
Man I cant wait to see the changes materialize

The staff seems to be heavily focused on player development and efficiency with whatever roster-depth they've had to deal with. They're a group of guys who find ways to win with what they have, not just build some long-term idea slowly and by the book.
This is the kind of coaching mentality we've needed -- less excuses, less system requirements, more of maximizing the players we do have and using improv strategy to get an edge over teams.

I know myself and a lot of people wanted a culture-changer veteran HC to come here, but although leadership has been an issue, I think it starts with the strategy. When the team is in better position to actually play well and win, the drive and fire will manifest.

I am going to be very interested if this staff can coach this team based on the talent on the team or if they feel they must change the scheme to fit their talents. If the latter is ttue imo that means our new coaching add staff is not th ad that talented.

For what it's worth, the comments about Mitchell and Tannehill's leadership supposedly came from Joe's staff on their way out of town.

Its funny how the Miami-Juncs have a way to see what they want to see, even when reading a simple three or four sentence blurb.

### Besides Ryan Tannehill needing to work with new coach Adam Gase on technical issues, the feedback inside the building is that Tannehill must become a better leader

You forgot Dallas Thomas sucks also and waiting for the 1st fiscally responsible day to cut his butt!

" that Tannehill is not a leader " .

Everyone is a leader when they're winning and nobody is a leader when you're missing the playoffs 3 straight years .

You think anyone takes Phillip Rivers seriously when he's screaming all over the field and they're adult men with a 4-10 record ?

If he's winning they're listening for he's losing he'll seem like an idiot .

Same with Wilson , people say he's calm cool and collected because he's winning , If he was losing he'd be a zombie .

Wake the **** up people . It's ALL about winning

I don't care if RT is a leader as long as he is throwing "at least 3 -4 touchdown" passes per game next year. That will get the team behind him more than anything else.

3 x 16 = 48 .

48 tds is pretty unreasonable And not far off of the record .

Half the issue people have with Tannehill is that they think other qbs around the league are doing better than they actually are .

Mostly because they only see their highlights pop up during the Dolphins games
