For sh*ts & giggles one day I decided to write down the Falcons play calls (this was vs. the Saints and they actually lost). For the life of me, I can't understand why we don't EVER have Tannehill doing designed rollouts, bootlegs, etc. We barely even read option anymore. And we all know we abandon the run, and don't like running from under center. Anyway, I loved how they used Matt Ryan and the play calls from the 1st half are below.
Keep in mind ALL of the play action and bootlegs were from under center (from memory anyway)

It's not even about the results. Yes the Falcons have Freeman running on people at will this year, but you still have to run and have non-negative plays. I don't understand why we don't even have the simple bootleg, throw to the open TE or run it for a few yards play with someone as athletic as Tannehill, and it rarely gets negative yards. This is something you always see OCs call for young QBs, hell I even see Peyton run it multiple times a game.
