What if Gase doesn't like Tannehill?

What happens after a full camp and Gase comes to Tannenbaum and says he feels Ryan is never going to cut it at QB after seeing him up close and personal? Will we fire Gase?
 
Good question. Everyone getting on Philbin because he didn't like precious Ryan Tannehill and that was part of the reason he got his butt fired. Its time to start over, if Tannehill isn't the guy the new coach should be allowed to go out and find the guy he wants to develop. Probably going to see Tannehill at least through next season.

Just thinking logically. It is being reported that Tannehill was forced on Philbin; it is also being reported that the main reason for hiring Gase was his willingness to work with Tannehill. So, hypothetically, if he feels this way, what will they do?

It would be completely out of character for Gase to just throw his hands up in the air and declare "this will never work".

But Gase will be given a few years. If Tannehill isn't cutting it, Tannehill will be the one fired. The core of this team is married for the next calendar year. If our season is still continuing at this point next season, its reasonable to assume they'll be back for year 2.

He got fired because he's s terrible coach. Cannot believe people are now clamoring for Philbin just to bash Tannehill.

People who think Tannehill isn't the answer will say, I told you so.

People who do, will continue to find an excuse.

1st year in new system will be at the top of the list.
 
With the schedule we have next year, don't expect a winning season. I truly believe they will part way after next year and draft another QB.
 
If JP had a problem with RT
he would have been fired during or the season of

Bully Gate

It would have been the perfect out for the organization.
Why keep a coach on a team thats not winning or does not get along with the QB.
Look at what the Niners did to a winning coach.

What did I say that is incorrect? Philbin didn't want Tannehill as the QB and that was PART of the reason he was let go. I'm not clamoring for the man, the guy was an imbecile. Why do you have such a hardon for Tannehill? What's he done to merit your defense? Its a supposed fresh start for a new coach, but he should open up and swallow Tannehill's shaft? It should be his choice who he wants out there and they claim he has control of the 53 man roster, no?
 
Doesnt really matter because we cannot cut him and even a trade gives a a huge cap hit

Is Tannehill like Teflon Don around Miami or what? It's like he is totally untouchable. My God you'd think he was Tom Brady or something. If he is not good enough you bring in competition and try to replace him. It's not rocket science.
