What If Next Years Qb's Stay In School?

I don’t really care. I’m kind of hoping Herbert and Love close the gap on Tua. I’d prefer a larger QB. Also I’m fine watching Fitzpatrick for 2 years while the OL and DL are built.

Trading for Rosen especially using players instead of picks makes more sense if you believe all of next years QB stay in school.

The QB's Rosen, Lock, and Haskins all have warts, it's the price tag that's the real difference.

So many things can and will change from now till 2020. In the one hand I think lets build both lines and get that QB in 2020. On the other hand we don't really know what this staff wants. What if they really like a QB in this draft and they can get him without trading away any picks. The one possible here would be Lock. I think you'd need to move p for Haskins so lets say they believe Lock is perfect to run the offense they will run. Now I believe Lock would not start right away so lets just say we still end up with a top 2 pick in 2020. You already have your young QB and and say we're drafting #2.

They should be several teams wanting to trade up to #2 so imagine how many picks we could get for that pick. Depending on how far down we'd move, we could be getting a couple of 1st round picks plus a couple of 2nd round picks. Now you have enough high picks to really build your team plus you have over 100mill in cap space.

Of course for this to work out you better make sure Lock really is the guy for your team. It's all about making your whole team better. It's not only about the QB. I'm craving for a top QB, believe me but that QB will need help so getting lots of high picks would be a great start.

I think Lawrence tua Murray are the best prospects at qb since luck.

Murray’s effortless throws at his pro day were like his college tape. A highlight reel.

I’d pay the price to go to #1 for any of them
Mayfield gets no respect.

It’s a matter of whether Tua is on schedule to graduate early or not. He’s an early entrant as Slimm said, so pretty good chance he is, but until that is confirmed it will be the primary question mark in determining whether Tua will come out or go back. His family have made it stark clear they want him to graduate, that is number one priority.
