I know I'm dreaming, right? Bear with me for a little dream.

IF the offensive line of Albert, Tunsil, Pouncey (or Steen, for that matter, IMO) Bushrod and James can actually play together for a few games in a row, we might actually be able to assess the value of Gase's scheme, Tannehill's ability to be at least good enough to put points on the board, the running backs to show what they can do so we can make determinations on who's actually good or great, which receivers have value beyond 2016, and maybe what the defense can do when it's not on the field for 38 minutes+ every game.

I honestly thought we had a chance at this year. I honestly thought if this happened we at least had a shot to compete for 9-7 and a potential playoff berth.

I was actually happy that we loaded up on offense in the off-season because I knew our D was gonna suck, no matter what, but maybe our offense could score enough points where we could sneak some wins in games that didn't look good on paper.

Instead, it's yet another year where our starting offensive line is banged up A.F. and we can't even be entertaining. So frustrating.

So, here we go. Ya think maybe they can string some games together that are at least fun to watch?

So many people playing out of position and too many of our linemen are becoming quite injury prone.
our line like always is a disaster much like the rest of the team

Regardless of offensive production, no one is winning 9 games and making noise in the postseason with this horrible defense.

But yes, it would be nice to see what this offense is capable of when up and properly running. That is currently on Gase as well though.

I don't believe those 5 could ever be a great oline and my reason for it is simple. A great o-line means they can pass AND run block. Imho they'll never be able to run block with two OT's playing guard. James at this point is pretty bad too and just having the other guys stay healthy won't change that. But it's all academic. Pouncey and Alberts can't stay healthy and now that's starting to rub off on Tunsil

Ozzy rules!!

Yeah, maybe Gase can perform some magic and coach his players how not to get hurt. We need to blame Gase for all the injuries.....lol

Then they'll be the healthiest bad offensive line in the league.

Since we have never seen it, I would enjoy seeing it.

They couldn't run when healthy before, so what changed?

I can't believe how bad James has regressed.....I am not sure if it is after effects of last years injury and he will get better or what is going on. It is hard to watch though and another 1st round pick head scratcher!

I always thought we overdrafted him but I thought he had potential. I think the more you see of him the worse he looks

I can't just blame James' problems on injury. Looking at film from another poster's thread, you could see James doing fundamentally bad things. Bad technique, bad instincts before the actual physical confrontation with the pass-rusher.

You gotta try and establish contact with the pass-rusher before he's already 2 steps from your QB.

You'd have to have a part b... what if our d stops giving up points as soon as the O scores.

He seemed to have good feet and instincts in his rookie year, so maybe the lost strength or power is making him question his ability to engage with defenders. If so, he's mentally beaten already and is doing no one any good. Move Bushrod to tackle and try any of the other guys at guard.
Put Pouncey at guard and Steen at center. Pouncey doesn't like it? **** him! Go be leader and help your team!

Albert is not playing well and James sucks lately...so, it really won't matter.

Also, unless Tunsil can cover a WR...we're screwed anyway.

Certainly not as bad as you are making it out to be. People seem to make up stuff in their own minds over it happening a few times.

We have a measly 15 scoring possessions this year. On the following possession the other team has only scored 4 TD's and 1 FG. 5 times they have scored. The other 10 we stopped them.

We have given up more scores following 3 and outs by the offense. We are second worst in the league with (20) 3 and outs on offense. Following those 3 and outs we have given up 5 TD's and 3 FG's

The bigger problem is going 3 and out so consistently.
